Nortex Group Implements Raidix

Nortex Group Company, RAIDIX partner in Kazakhstan, has finished deployment of the storage system based on RAIDIX software for Automobile Road Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Storage system provides reliable keeping of video files and access to the records that come from the road surveillance network in 24/7 mode. Road surveillance system helps maintaining safety and order on the public roads which is one of the main priorities of the Committee.

Prior to the project, Nortex has finished the tests of RAIDIX management software according to the partnership agreement. Cooperative work has resulted in configuration set of the two complex storage, designed and set by the tech team. Systems are based on the Supermicro SBB platforms with 390TB capacity and SSD cache function that are essential for managing the load.

Implementation of RAIDIX storage system allows stable background for IT infrastructure of the Committee with no excessive costs. Reliable complex solution has proved its efficiency in dealing with such tasks as control of traffic situation and supervision of road network construction and exploitation.

At the moment partners are working on the next perspective project that has been initiated according to the roadmap of the Committee.
