Customers can take advantage of the scalability, HA, and security of Azure, with streamlined deployment and management.

With the intensifying sophistication of cyberattacks, data breach remains a critical, yet unresolved problem for organizations of all sizes. StoreSafe storage firewall provides automatic protection of data-at-rest for workloads deployed on Azure, enabling business-critical applications and crown jewels to be migrated to the cloud securely.

StoreSafe is an agentless application-transparent unified stored data security solution that enables automatic discovery and protection of sensitive persistent data with a non-disruptive deployment approach: protocol preserving with no operational change to application infrastructure and user workflow.

It works almost like a firewall at the cloud storage network layer delivering encryption when data is written and unencryption as data is read. Unlike traditional data loss prevention (DLP) tools, which often require hardware retrofitting and application change, the Bloombase solution provides encryption by running as an Azure VM securing heterogeneous cloud storage services including Azure File, Azure Disk, Azure Blob storage, Avere vFXT for Azure, NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP for Azure, Azure NetApp Files. By integrating Azure Key Vault with StoreSafe, customers can achieve centralized key management and increased security control over cryptographic keys for scale-out use cases.

Bloombase StoreSafe Intelligent Storage Firewall allows organizational customers to move their invaluable digital assets and business sensitive applications more securely to the cloud, and helps meet data privacy regulatory compliance mandates cost-effectively,” said Sean Xiang, CEO, Bloombase. “We’re happy to have our solution entered in the Azure Marketplace, enabling customers to tap into Bloombase defense-in-depth data protection more easily.

Sajan Parihar, director, Azure platform, Microsoft Corp., said: “We’re excited to welcome Bloombase StoreSafe to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, which gives our partners great exposure to cloud customers around the globe. Azure Marketplace offers world-class quality experiences from global trusted partners with solutions tested to work seamlessly with Azure.

The Azure Marketplace is an online market for buying and selling finished Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and premium datasets. It helps connect companies seeking cloud-based solutions with partners who have developed solutions that are ready to use.
