BtoBet Opts for Nakivo Backup & Replication

Nakivo, Inc. has announced that BtoBet Limited has selected Nakivo Backup & Replication to protect their VMware environment.

BtoBet is a specialist in the technologies for iGaming operators and the betting industry. Their customizable, secure, and flexible cloud-based systems deliver capabilities to drive Sportsbook and iGaming businesses. BtoBet serves the gaming industry with solutions and products that are ready to support any change in consumer behavior and in the market, in addition to custom software development and services based on the requirements of clients.

BtoBet’s IT infrastructure is distributed via multiple datacenters; in their most recently opened datacenter, the company made the decision to virtualize their environment. BtoBet’s IT team chose to abandon physical servers in light of virtualization, thus the company’s data from three physical servers migrated to the vSphere hosts running VMware VMs. The company virtualized all the operational information needed for running their iGaming and betting platform on a B2B basis.

BtoBet’s iGaming and betting solution is a business-critical service which is offered to their multiple customers, thus if the company’s solution were to experience downtime, the businesses of their customers, which run millions of transactions a month, would also experience downtime. Therefore, to eliminate downtime and the risk of data loss, a VM backup solution specifically built for virtualization was required.

“Since we only recently virtualized our environment, we did not have any experience with other VM backup solutions. “We backup our VMware VMs much faster than it previously took us to backup our physical servers.
