Yahoo Japan Assigned Patent

Yahoo Japan Corp., Tokyo, Japan, has been assigned a patent (10,175,907) developed by Goto, Yasuharu, Tokyo, Japan, for “storage device, file writing method, and non-transitory computer readable storage medium.“

The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: ”A storage device according to the present application includes a receiving unit and a control unit. The receiving unit receives a write request for writing a file with a specified directory name. The control unit writes the file in association with a directory of the specified directory name into a memory device, within a range up to an upper limit set for the number of files to be written in the memory device in association with each directory, in response to the write request received by the receiving unit”.
