IBM PureApplication System W3550 enhanced storage expansion options enable PureApplication platform W3550 users to expand available storage for their PureApplication platform workloads.
Each flash module in the PureApplication System W3550 enhanced storage expansion enclosure includes 18TB of solid state drive for a total of 180TB of usable storage. Up to three PureApplication System W3550 enhanced storage expansion enclosures can be attached to a PureApplication Platform W3550 to expand storage up to 540TB.
PureApplication System W3550 Enhanced Storage Expansion options are installed by IBM.
