pCloud Secure Cloud Storage Service Launches Family Lifetime Plan

Swiss-based cloud storage service pCloud AG has introduced a family plan, directed at families with up to five members – aimed to provide lifetime storage sharing with extra Premium benefits.

pCloud for Family is a plan that offers cheaper cloud storage alternative for paying user’s family members. The subscribers will be able to invite up to four family members to their account. Each family member will have their private pCloud account to store and share files.

The cloud storage company has been receiving an increasing demand for a plan that can be shared between a smaller group of users. While the company is not the first to introduce such a service, it is the first to service to offer a ‘Family Lifetime license’ for it.

Additional value that pCloud for Family offers is a Lifetime license to pCloud Crypto – a file encryption service, which can be activated for all family users, against a single discounted payment. In a dedicated hacking challenge with a prize fund of $100,000, more than 2,850 hackers failed to breach the firm’s client-side encryption service, which makes the company one of the most secure cloud storage alternatives.
