Digital River Opts for Rubrik Datos IO

Rubrik, Inc. announced that Digital River, Inc. has reduced storage costs, automated NoSQL backup and recovery, and improved data protection with its Datos IO software.

The e-commerce technology provider is using Datos IO to protect more than 60 NoSQL databases and tables across five different Cassandra database clusters.

Digital River provides e-commerce technology and services that help some of the largest brands sell their products direct-to-consumers online.

Prior to Rubrik, the process of building and managing backups of Apache Cassandra keyspaces with different SLAs per application was a time-consuming and cumbersome process for the Digital River team. With Datos IO, Digital River was able to deploy an automated backup and recovery solution for multiple Apache Cassandra databases that achieved protection from logical data corruption in an efficient and cost-effective way. It also enabled an application-centric approach to backup and recovery to address the need for granular database and table-level control for operational ease of use.
