Tintri by DDN Opens 122 Worldwide Field Service Depots and Delivers Software Update

Availability of Tintri OS 4.4.3.3, first OS release since DDN acquisition

Tintri by DDN provides support to customers with the activation and stocking of more than 98% of the planned 122 service depots worldwide.

Also marked the availability of Tintri OS 4.4.3.3, the first OS release since DataDirect Networks, Inc. (DDN) acquired Tintri in September. This accomplishment is the first of many releases the firm has planned over the next few months.

The company continues to focus on investing in people, equipment and infrastructure, as well as optimizing the firm’s ‘Call Home’ facility to deliver class service and support to customers. With the increase in the number of stocked worldwide field service depots, and millions of dollars of the company’s equipment being dispatched to these locations, customers are already seeing the benefits of these efforts. In addition, four-hour service response times have been restored to all customers requiring mission-critical levels of support.

In the last 90 days, dozens of experienced field technical engineering, quality assurance and technical customer service team members have joined the firm. In total, the company has already hired 94 out of the 100 new employees it has targeted to hire by the end of 2018.
