iland With Second Data Centre in Melbourne, Australia

In response to increased demand from enterprises, partners and SaaS providers in Australia, cloud service provider, iland Internet Solutions Corporation, expanded its geographic reach by adding a new cloud region in Melbourne.

The new region will support iland’s full suite of secure cloud services, built on top of company’s Secure Cloud Platform, including Infrastructure as a Service, DR as a Service and Backup as a Service.

The new region allows customers to replicate and backup their iland cloud services between Melbourne and Sydney, maintaining data sovereignty within Australia, and offering an added layer of resiliency to their virtual workloads. As iland’s ninth global data centre, the Melbourne location strengthens firm’s presence in AsiaPac Region (APAC) complimenting its existing cloud regions in Singapore and Sydney, and its global cloud regions in the Americas and EMEA.

Since launching the iland secure cloud platform in Sydney, and establishing its APAC HQs in North Sydney in 2017, iland have seen partner and customer traction. This has led to ongoing expansion of iland sales and support teams in the region. This support, combined with company’s advanced security and compliance-including ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI, ITIL, BS10012, HIPAA, and CJIS certifications-provide a level of cloud services for APAC.
