Datto Recruited 750 MSP Partners in EMEA This Year

Now serves more 500,000 SMEs in 130 countries through over 14,000 MSPs.

Datto, Inc. announced strong growth in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) – serving SMBs through more than 3,000 MSP partners.

It now serves more than 500,000 SMEs in over 130 countries through over 14,000 MSPs.

Datto unveiled metrics detailing commitment to EMEA region, including: 

  • Partner-dedicated employees: Company”s increasing investment in EMEA includes an array of partner-focused employees, with product management teams and staff dedicated to building products, servicing, and supporting partners. It continues to hire in EMEA with 40 open positions.
  • Partner growth: It has recruited over 750 new MSP partners in EMEA since the start of the year, achieving over a 40% year-over-year increase. With over 125 partner events taking place from Cape Town to Munich to Barcelona over the last year, the firm remains committed to its partners in the region.
  • Office and data center growth: Local workforce has more than 230 employees based in Europe, located across 7 offices. In addition to the company’s data centers in the UK, Germany, and Iceland, the copany invested in a new data center in the UK at the start of 2018, and is opening a new data center in Germany in the first half of 2019, aiming to migrate European customers’ data in time for Brexit, demonstrating continued commitment to serving EMEA.

SMBs are increasingly outsourcing their IT needs to MSPs due to continued technology investment and stricter data regulations, providing opportunities for MSPs. Markets and Markets’ Managed Services Market Forecast, 2017-2022 estimates that SMBs already spend $40 billion annually on managed IT services worldwide and that is expected to grow to $72 billion by 2022. Figures for EMEA are equally as impressive – SME spend on managed services in EMEA is estimated at $10 billion today and is expected to grow to $18 billion annually by 2022.
