Sue Bostrom Board’s Director, Druva

Druva, Inc. announced the appointment of Sue Bostrom to the company’s board of directors effective October 17.

She brings more than 25 years of experience in management, marketing and strategy development and will support Druva during a time of accelerated company and market growth.

She was the EVP and CMO of Cisco Systems where she was responsible for developing and communicating Cisco’s vision and strategy through positioning, branding, advertising, and product marketing. In her 14 years at the company, she also led worldwide government affairs and created the Internet Business Solutions Consulting Group. She has since dedicated her time and expertise as a board member at many of Silicon Valley’s industry leading technology companies, including ServiceNow, Nutanix, Anaplan, Cadence, and Varian Medical Systems. She has also helped guide a number of private companies through IPOs and acquisitions.

Druva has also added executive leaders to its team in the last year, including Sherry Lowe as CMO and Thorsten Freitag as chief revenue officer.

Additionally, in September, Guy Churchward joined as an advisor to Druva’s executive team. He brings international experience in engineering, sales, strategy, and market development from EMC/Dell EMC and NetApp, and now focuses on working with companies that deliver innovation and transformation in data management, protection, and storage.
