Housed in a 2U unit with NVMe drives, the company’s all-NVMe provides up to 80TB of raw storage capacity and targets users that place a premium on speed by delivering unparalleled performance, even for 8K DPX workflows with more than 20GB/s, providing both 100GbE and 32Gb FC connectivity.

Rendering tasks are also accomplished at a notably accelerated pace due to the high-level of IO/s rates. The high density of the hardware design makes the system environmentally friendly, reducing the TCO due to lower power requirements.

SMPTE attracts the world’s most innovative technology leaders, and we are excited to show them our product portfolio, including our new all-NVMe storage appliance, at the organization’s annual conference and exhibition.” says André Kamps, CEO, Elements. “The all-NVMe solution delivers performance beyond belief, with incredible high-bandwidths, zero latencies and more than double the throughput – a huge benefit for all media workflows.

The company is known for its media storage appliances that support up to 100GbE and RDMA, and allow users in mixed SAN or NAS environments to connect and manage all workstations to one central storage.

Media files and entire projects can be shared natively across all platforms and non-linear editing and VFX applications, such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut Pro and others, reducing maintenance and eliminating complicated workarounds. A set of practical workflow enhancement tools streamline daily tasks and allow for simple workflow automation with its visual workflow manager. The company’s Media Library, a Media Asset Management (MAM) system can also be enabled on every firm’s media server and storage appliance to professionally manage, present and share media assets, even in the cloud.

The company’s features and tools are accessible through a web-based HTML 5 GUI, including the embedded Rough Cut Editor for editing original film material remotely.
