Backblaze B2 Includes Data Transfer to Cloudflare

With zero transfer fees

Backblaze, Inc. announced a partnership with Cloudflare Inc. to deliver affordable storage and distribution of data stored in its B2 Cloud Storage platform.

Beginning immediately, customers who store data with B2 can have Cloudflare CDN access the data with zero transfer fees from B2 to Cloudflare.

For customers who use both services, this will happen automatically when their data is transferred from Backblaze to Cloudflare. As part of this partnership, Backblaze has joined Cloudflare as a founding member of the Bandwidth Alliance, a group of like-minded companies driven to provide Internet infrastructure, software and services, that are open, affordable and transparent.

The zero B2 transfer fees are available to all Cloudflare customers using any plan. These customers can also use paid add-ons such as Argo and Workers to enhance the routing and security of the B2 files being delivered over the Cloudflare network. The combined solution let’s joint customers save up to 75% on cloud storage versus using the Amazon S3 solution to store content in the cloud and deliver it worldwide.
