The company is a manufacturer of a portfolio of NVMe RAID storage products. Built for professional applications, and powered by our market-proven RAID and Core NVMe technology, the company’s NVMe RAID solutions are designed for integration into commercially available PC hardware platforms, across Windows, Linux and macOS environments, and are capable of delivering staggering levels of transfer performance; up to 13,000MB/s for a single device, and over 25,000MB/s for dual-controller configurations.
SSD7101A-1 NVMe RAID controller
NVMe performance – up to 25,000MB/s
The company has broken new ground, and established another NVMe performance milestone for professional grade applications. The latest generation of high-performance CPU’s and motherboards can provide the PCIe 3.0 lanes required to power dual PCIe 3.0 x16 NVMe RAID controllers. Ultra-HD video projects, such as those working with raw 8K footage, require transfer performance exceeding 17,900MB/s.
Media professionals working with such hardware can link two SSD7101A-1 NVMe RAID controllers to function as a single array, and configure RAID arrays of up to eight M.2 NVMe SSD‘s to deliver over 25,000MB/s of transfer performance.
NVMe boot up solutions
The firm’s NVMe solutions are not just static storage devices. Several of the SSD7100 series RAID controllers provide multiple boot options for NVMe configurations. SSD7110 is shipping. It can support a variety of NVMe-based boot configurations. Customers can configure up to three M.2 mSSDs to act as independent drives, and setup each to function as a separate boot volume. In addition, customers can configure two types of bootable RAID arrays; RAID-0 for maximum performance, or RAID-1 for enhanced data security.
SSD7102 will be available this Fall.
Like its sister product, the SSD7101A-1, the SSD7102 boasts four independent M.2 ports, and can deliver truly stunning levels of transfer speed; up to and beyond 13,000MB/s. In addition to its performance capabilities, it can serve as the system’s boot device. Customers can configure up to four independent boot volumes, one per M.2 drive, or boot from a RAID array. RAID-0 is for systems that require the quickest boot-time possible. RAID-1, 5 and 1/0 are for customers that require additional layers of data security for their boot volumes.
External 4x M.2/U.2 NVMe RAID solutions
The company offers a range of direct attached external NVMe RAID solutions designed for the mobile professional, and I/O intensive media applications. The compact form-factors were designed for easy integration and utility; customers can access high-speed NVMe RAID storage, comprised of up to four off-the-shelf M.2 or U.2 SSD’s, whenever and wherever it is needed.
RocketStor 6661A-NVMe
RocketStor 6661A-NVMe
The RocketStor 6661A-NVMe is a compact, modular and portable Thunderbolt 3 to NVMe storage solution that features an integrated SSD7101A-1 PCIe 3.0 x16 NVMe RAID controller. The enclosure’s lightweight aluminum construction and small-footprint design support scalable RAID configurations of up to four off-the-shelf M.2 SSD’s, and is for compact and mobile computing platforms such as iMacs, MacBook’s Pros, and Dell and HP notebooks.
SSD6500 series RAID storage system
SSD6540
SSD6500 Series RAID storage enclosures are for I/O intensive, professional media applications that require a compact, external storage solution capable of delivering PCIe 3.0 x16 transfer performance. Each enclosure supports up to four off-the-shelf U.2 drives, is powered by the company’s RAID and storage technology, and can be installed into systems with a dedicated PCIe 3.0 x16 slot.
NVMe RAID controller product line
The firm’s SSD7100 Series RAID controllers are independent NVMe RAID solutions, and employ our PCIe x16 bus switch, which delivers up to four dedicated PCIe 3.0 x4 lanes; one for each NVMe SSD. Any modern computing platform with a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot can exploit the performance of NVMe storage, with their choice of up to four off-the-shelf M.2 or U.2 SSD’s.
