BridgeHead Software Available on G-Cloud 10

UK government's public sector cloud procurement framework

BridgeHead Software Ltd has been accepted as a supplier on the latest version of the UK government’s public sector cloud procurement framework, G-Cloud 10.

The company’s Independent Clinical Archive (ICA), HealthStore, is listed under the ‘Cloud Software’ lot, while its Professional Services for Healthcare Data Management are categorised as ‘Cloud Support’ on the ‘Digital Marketplace’.

HealthStore offers a standards-based repository for all healthcare data. The software allows clinicians and other users, often frustrated that they do not have access to the full range of patient information they need at the point of care, to recall data from within the repository when and where they need it, whether through an EPR, viewer, portal or other relevant application.

In addition, the company’s DR capabilities allows healthcare organisations to safeguard their data in the event of a system failure, corruption, outage or more serious event to ensure the vital continuation to hospital operations.

Operated by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), G-Cloud 10 was officially launched in July 2018 and is the latest iteration of the framework replacing services offered on G-Cloud 9. The framework allows suppliers and contractors to bid for government contracts for cloud-based services, without needing to participate in lengthy tenders or competitive procurements.

John McCann, senior director of marketing, BridgeHead, comments: “We continue to see increased adoption of the cloud within the NHS and private hospitals. In some cases, organisations are simply taking advantage of infrastructure benefits available in the cloud. But, as cloud innovations continue, more and more vendors are architecting their solutions with cloud in mind, as we have at BridgeHead with our HealthStore Independent Clinical Archive. These are the solutions of the future that will enable hospitals to generate efficiencies in the delivery of healthcare at large. Whether that’s providing remote clinicians with easy access to patient data; the enabling of improved collaboration between disparate health and social care agencies; better aggregation of information for analytics, artificial intelligence or machine learning, the cloud is here to stay. At BridgeHead, we are thrilled to be able to offer our customers cloud-enabled data management solutions on the Digital Marketplace’s G-Cloud framework. With over 20 years’ experience in helping customers to consolidate, protect and share their critical data, BridgeHead is perfectly placed to assist NHS organisations as they make their transition to the cloud.
