Kwilt Shoebox Plus Personal Cloud Solution

Kwilt, Inc. announced the Shoebox Plus, a device that turns any memory key or external drive into a private, personal cloud where consumers can offload photos and videos from their smartphones and other devices and still access their content anytime, anywhere.

The Shoebox Plus is platform agnostic and includes all of the features of its sister product, the Shoebox Mini, plus faster processing speeds thanks to its quad-core CPU, 5GHz wireless-AC network and the ability to connect directly to a router through Ethernet.

Photos are uploaded ins, and its additional USB ports allow up to four storage devices to be connected simultaneously.

Unlike commercial cloud providers, the users can rest knowing no one else has access to their photos and videos – not even Kwilt. The firm’s platform also aggregates several sources of cloud and home content (Instagram, Facebook, Google Photos, Dropbox, etc.) into a single, indexed and convenient interface. This allows consumers to search and access all of their photos – including those stored across various cloud platforms – in one place.
