The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: “An electronic data storage device includes a single outer case enclosing a plurality of individually isolated data storage mediums. The outer case may appear to be an industry standard single data storage device, however the plurality of data storage mediums are accessible therein. The electronic data storage device may include a wireless receiver paired to a wireless controller for selecting the accessible data storage medium. The electronic data storage medium may include a processor configured with firmware for enabling tamper protection and/or large volume management protocols.”
The patent application was filed on July 10, 2015 (14/796,740).
