Believing NRAM has potential to replace DRAM

Fujitsu is planning mass production in 2019 for NRAM
• As the firm stated previously, it will first deliver an NRAM-embedded custom LSI. After this, it will expand its product line-up into standalone NRAM products.
• Matsumiya-san states in the video: “I believe NRAM absolutely has the potential to replace DRAM.” He discussed how NRAM’s fast write speed and low power consumption are needed for many applications such as big data, IoT edge, networks, wireless, authentication, and more.
• Per Matsumiya-san, NRAM features faster write and lower power consumption than competitive memories. In addition, it has excellent operating characteristics at high temperature for automotive and other applications.
