Allison Armstrong VP Marketing, Igneous

Anna Mowry was named VP of finance and operations, and Allison Armstrong was named VP marketing.
“Our early successes with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprise customers has laid a great foundation for our next stage of growth,” says Kiran Bhageshpur, CEO. “I’m excited to leverage Anna’s experience in scaling operations with enterprise sales, coupled with Allison’s experience in penetrating markets with new software as-a-service businesses to take Igneous to the next level.”
In her role, Allison Armstrong is responsible for all marketing functions, including product marketing, field marketing, corporate marketing and channel marketing. Prior to Igneous Systems, she was VP, product and technical marketing at Alert Logic. She has lead teams and growth strategies with companies including Apptio, Quantum and Symantec. Her background is rooted in an ‘outside-in’ approach to value creation and positioning, with successes in growing SaaS businesses in the data protection, cloud security and IT analytics spaces. She holds a BS in Economics and Marketing from Santa Clara University.
Anna Mowry, VP of finance and operation is responsible for all general and administrative functions, including accounting, finance, human resources, operations, and others. Prior to her role at Igneous Systems, she was senior director of finance and sales operations at ExtraHop, and before that, she held finance leadership roles at AWS and EMC Isilon. In these roles, she has led teams through many stages of growth, and is looking forward to shepherding Igneous through its next phase. She holds a BS in biochemistry from Western Washington University and an MBA, Finance from University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
