CloudLanes Demos Enhanced Security and Data Integrity Capabilities

CloudLanes, a Microsoft Ventures and Cervin Ventures portfolio company, demonstrated with Veeam Software, Inc. large scale backups to Azure in a safe and secure manner.

Asif Moinuddin, CEO, CloudLanes, said: “Enterprise customers with larger data sets are demanding a more robust and scaled out solution with enhanced security and data integrity capabilities. There is a need for a solution that seamlessly combines online cloud migration with offline bulk move of data to the cloud.“

Ray Rodriguez, San Diego State University (SDSU), has been looking forward to solving the challenge of moving both his Veeam backups and video surveillance data to the cloud in a cost effective manner.

“By leveraging the CloudLanes and offline ingest using Microsoft Azure Data Box we can now cost effectively bulk transport data to Azure. The enhanced security capabilities gives us peace of mind that video surveillance data is guarded with CloudLanes’ enhanced security approach,” he said.
