Microchip Received Antitrust Clearance in Taiwan and Approval of Microsemi Shareholders
For acquisition of company expected to close on May 29, 2018
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 24, 2018 at 2:25 pmMicrochip Technology Incorporated announced, in connection with its pending acquisition of Microsemi Corporation that it has obtained antitrust clearance from the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission.
Additionally, Microchip announced that the shareholders of Microsemi overwhelmingly approved the merger with 99.5% of the Microsemi shares that voted being in favor of the merger.
Microchip expects that the merger will close on May 29, 2018.
