2018 Continues Growth in Near Line HDD Market
Total HDD shipments in CQ1 2018 were down 10.7% compared with CQ4 2017 (93.7 million units in Q1 2018 versus 104.9 million units in Q4 2017). This is after an 1% increase in CQ4 2017, 7.6% increase for CQ3 2017 from CQ2 2017 and a 2.1% decline for CQ2 2017 from CQ1 2017.
