HighPoint 4-Bay RocketStor 6124VM for Mac and 6124VW for Windows USB 3.1 RAID Systems

HighPoint Technologies, Inc. launched the RocketStor 6124VM for Mac and RocketStor 6124VW for Windows, 10Gb/s USB 3.1 RAID enclosures.

These 4-bay external USB 3.1 10Gb/s RAID enclosures support up to four 14TB SATA HDDs in one or more configurations for both Mac and PC host. The company’s performance-driven USB architecture and RAID expertise deliver speed, management capability, and ease of integration.

The firm’s second generation RocketStor 6124V Series USB 3.1 10Gb/s RAID enclosures are capable of delivering 1,000MB/s of transfer performance – 4x faster than other USB-based RAID solutions. The firm’s Turbo RAID technology enables each RocketStor 6124V series enclosure to host performance RAID-0 and RAID-5 arrays across four HDDs, and up to 56TB of capacity.

Add RAID-5 storage to Mac or PC with USB 3.1 or Thunderbolt 3 connectivity
The universal nature of USB connectivity makes setup and installation a snap; the RocketStor 6124V series require a single cable between the enclosure and host system. Customers of any experience level can add 56TB of storage to any Mac or PC platform with USB 3.1 Type-C connectivity.

In addition, RocketStor 6124V series enclosures are 4-bay RAID-5 storage solutions for Thunderbolt 3 capable host platforms. This series enclosures are compatible with Thunderbolt 3 USB-C connectors; when combined with Turbo RAID IP and four-independent drive bays, it is an alternative to high-priced Thunderbolt 3 based storage solutions.

Integrated LCD panel for temperature monitoring and fan control
Each RocketStor 6124VM/VW features a built-in LCD screen that displays environmental conditions in real-time. Customers can access the temperature of storage configurations and adjust fan speed to ensure the drives stay healthy and run optimally. In addition, a built in alarm can be set to activate in the case of temperature or enclosure related warning or failure.

Configure arrays in three steps with RocketStor Manager
Each RocketStor 6124V Series enclosure includes an easy to use, web-based management utility. The built-in array configuration wizard allows users of any experience level to create any type of RAID array in three steps. Advanced management features allow customers to configure email notification to inform one or more users of changing storage conditions while outside of the work environment, and manage storage remotely via a local network connection.
