RAID Machine Launches 5000, 6000 and 7000 Series Cableless Rackmount 12Gb SAS JBOD, RAID, 10GbE iSCSI and 16Gb FC Systems

RAID Machine announces the 5000, 6000, and 7000 series cableless rackmount enclosures for 12Gb SAS JBOD, 12Gb SAS RAID, 10GbE iSCSI and 16Gb FC.

Each series provides solutions in 2U-12 bay, 3U 16-bay, 2U-24 bay and 4U-24 bay models. These performance solutions feature an internally cable-free, redundant design therefore eliminating several points of failure. All components such as controllers, power supplies, fans and HDDs are hot swappable, thus reducing or eliminating downtime. Each system also goes through our 48-hour burn-in testing as part of quality assurance.

6000 series system

Dual expanders and RAID controllers offer reliability with HA protecting against controller failure, while the active-active design of 10GbE and FC16 models improve performance and increase connectivity.

Meanwhile, enterprise-grade redundant power supplies with self-contained adjustable cooling provide plenty of headroom and uninterrupted power.

RAID capabilities for the 6000 SAS RAID and 7000 iSCSI and FC series are based on a 1.2GHz ROC and 2GB cache memory (upgradable to 8GB) which provides hardware RAID. RAID levels supported are RAID-0, 1, 10(1E), 3, 5, 6, 30, 50, 60, single disk or JBOD. For the 5000 SAS JBOD series, dual paths to each SAS disk enable the use of the JBOD for clustering and storage spaces.
