NAB: mLogic Expanding mSpeed Desktop RAID and mSAN Shared Storage Systems

Starting at $2,099 without HDDs or SSDs, 8 to 16 bays, transfer rates up to 2,600 MB/s

mLogic LLC  is expanding its product line to include RAID solutions designed for digital content creators and post-production professionals.

 The mSpeed desktop RAID systems feature eight or twelve removable drive modules, Thunderbolt 3 connectivity and data transfer rates up to 2,600 MB/s. mSAN a shared storage system, enables up to four computers to directly attach to the unit via Thunderbolt 3 empowering collaborative workflows for a fraction of the cost of traditional SAN systems. Both units are bundled with a version of KYNO – the all-in-one media management app for macOS and Windows.

mSpeed highlights:

  • Performance up to 2,600 MB/s

  • Ships unpopulated – Add your own HDDs or SSDs

“We’ve deployed an mLogic mSpeed RAID for a 4K dailies project. We use it to transcode 4K raw media and play back 4K raw on a Blackmagic Resolve system at our facility.
