Cryptsoft KMIP Technology Secures BDT MultiStor OEM Tape Library

Cryptsoft Pty Ltd, announced that their enterprise licensee, BDT Storage GmbH (BDT), has made the company’s Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) technology available in their latest 3U-high, expandable OEM tape library product aimed at the enterprise storage market.

As a OEM supplier of tape storage products to many of storage vendors, including HPE, IBM, Dell, Fujitsu and Spectra Logic, BDT is obligated to meet their customers’ demand for standards-based encryption technologies in all of their products. It has leveraged the KMIP technology and expertise to meet this technology requirement and has created a product that integrates into the end-to-end encryption solution strategies that are being implemented by enterprises worldwide.
