IBM Corp. resells Dynamic Solutions International VTLs

Dynamic Solutions International VTLs (DSI VTLs) are available for purchase in IBM i environments.

IBM Corp. is reselling two VTLs:

• DSI425-D24 is designed for efficiency in small and medium environments
• DSI420-EVD is a gateway designed for efficiency in medium to large environments

DSI VTLs are designed to help keep pace with rapidly expanding data by utilizing deduplication for storage. As storage requirements grow, storage modules can be added to an existing solutions to scale storage. Investment protection is the center of this storage solution.

• Deduplication capabilities are designed for efficiency and save storage costs.
• Industry standards are used for encryption and encryption of data at rest.
  Secure encryption at rest is standard to protect your information sitting on disk.
• Secure encryption in motion is standard to protect information during transmission.
• Support for attaching back-end tape drives to offload data on lower cost storage media.
• Built-in replication capabilities enable setting up DR and HA environments to guarantee data availability.

DSI VTLs are available for purchase in IBM i environments and can replace IBM ProtecTIER.
