Areca ARC-1884ixl 12Gb/s PCIe 3.0 SAS RAID Adapters

Areca Technology Corporation announced that its family ARC-1884ixl 12Gb/s PCIe 3.0 SAS RAID adapters have featured with 8~12 internal and four external 12Gb/s SAS ports in a low-profile form factor.

The ARC-1884ixl adapter default supports 2GB on-board memory. Those adapters are for 1U/2U servers.

Features:

• 8/12 internal ports (2/3xSFF8643) + four external ports (SFF8644)

• Low-profile card with both low-profile and full height mounting brackets

• RJ45 LAN port for out-of-band configuration and monitoring

• Low cost enough to cover internal 8~12 ports

Leveraging the company existed RAID adapter’s technology, the adapters support the same customers familiar API, CLI, McBIOS manager or browser-based McRAID manager management tool to simplify the creation, monitoring and maintenance of storage configurations.
