Elements Demos ONE SAN/NAS Server Platform With New Functions

Media storage appliances allow users in mixed SAN/NAS environments to connect and manage all workstations to one central storage.

Elements (Syslink GmbH) will be demonstrating new features of it ONE SAN/NAS server platform at the HPA Tech Retreat‘s Innovation Zone in Palm Springs, CA.

The Innovation Zone is an invitation only space for exhibitors to share their technologies for digital-cinema, post-production, film, television, and video with attendees. The event will be held at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa in Palm Desert, CA from February 19-23 2018.

The company’s media storage appliances allow users in mixed SAN or NAS environments to connect and manage all workstations to one central storage. Media files and entire projects can be shared natively across all platforms and non-linear editing and VFX applications, such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut Pro and others, reducing maintenance efforts and eliminating complicated workarounds. A set of useful workflow enhancement tools streamline daily tasks and allow for simple workflow automation with its easy-to-use visual workflow manager.

The firm’s Media Library, a Media Asset Management (MAM) system can also be enabled on every company’s media server and storage appliance to professionally manage, present and share media assets, even in the cloud. The firm’s features and tools are accessible through a web-based HTML 5 GUI, including the embedded Rough Cut Editor for editing original film material remotely.

At the HPA Tech Retreat, the firm will give attendees a sneak peek at new features including Click, its secure option to push media assets and entire projects to an individually branded Cloud-based portal, and manage assets via the company’s own GUI. The software package is embedded in all of firm’ appliances, ranging from all-in-one media storage and server solutions for SAN and NAS (with 25GbE support), to a server-only GATEWAY and the mobile storage solution CUBE.
