President and CEO of BDT Products Douglas Bass Retired

President and CEO of BDT Products Douglas Bass retired on January 1, 2018.

He held these two positions since April 2014.

The company was especially designing and manufacturing LTO and RDX autoloaders for several storage OEMs, in a market decreasing these past years.

He was in the company since December 1978 successively in the order: service manager, regional sales, Western regional sales manager, product marketing manager, manager of products development, once more product marketing manager, in charge of OEM sales, director of sales engineering, and VP of sales and operations.

Dr. Holger Rath is CEO of BDT Media Automation since 2011. He is the former division CFO of IBM Germany.
