To expand customer base in the Nordic region
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 20, 2018 at 2:23 pmDruva, Inc. announced a partnership with Cloud2 Oy, a cloud services provider located in Finland to expand the company’s customer base in the Nordic region.
Druva will work with Cloud2 to offer Data Management as a Service (DMaaS) to customers based on public cloud. With this launch, both companies can help customers protect all their company data regardless of where it is created, as well as reducing the TCO around data protection and management.
Cloud2 delivers a range of cloud-based services for companies, from initial migration planning through to large-scale deployments based on public cloud platforms. The company has delivered more than 300 projects. Cloud2 chose Druva because it provides an approach to deployments around data management, and was a platform capable of supporting all the IT assets that companies use within one central management platform.
“Druva is a great fit for our business – its cloud-first approach fits well with how we design and deploy services to customers. Druva’s method to pricing represents a genuine ‘pay as you go model’ that is unique in our experience, and its model for data management allows customers to protect and manage their data in the cloud regardless of where that data is created,” commented Henri Grönlund, MD, Cloud2. “Working together, we can provide customers in the region with true cloud data protection for all their critical data, wherever it is created.“
“We have been looking to expand in the Nordic region based on working with the right kinds of partners,” said Rick Powles, VP EMEA, Druva. “Cloud2 represents an ideal partner for us, as the company delivers innovative and cost-effective new projects for customers based on public cloud services that suit those customers best. Our strategy for helping customers is based on making the most of cloud to improve how companies manage their data, regardless of whether that data is held on devices, created using cloud applications, or still stored on existing IT systems.“
The Druva Cloud Platform is built natively on public cloud infrastructure and employs a patented scale-out secondary storage architecture for unstructured and structured information. The storage architecture supports multiple workflows by using the same data for parallel use cases including the full data lifecycle of backup, recovery and archiving, data management for eDiscovery and compliance, and analytics for ransomware attack identification and recovery. Druva’s scale-out deduplication and pay-as-you-go approach to pricing ensures that customers can achieve the results they require for data management at lower cost.
