VP Marketing and Business Development Peter Smails Left Datos IO

Peter Smails informed us that “I have decided not to stay on post-acquisition” of Datos IO by Rubrik.

He was VP of marketing and business development at Datos IO since March 2017 after a long career in storage.

Formerly he worked at EMC from 2011 to 2015 ending as VP product marketing after more than one yar at CA as senior director, product marketing, and at Storwize as SVP WW marketing, 5 years at HDS as senior director, global product marketing, one year at OTG Software as VP product management, and as much as 9 years at Smart Storage with the position of VP sales and marketing.
