The Toshiba 1TB platter technology allows us to manufacture slimmer and more convenient to use Canvio models with higher capacity storage compared to their predecessors.”
The Canvio models blend form and function, offering capacity storage, backup and security in a slim, stylish design. As stated above, for Advance and Premium models, the brand Storage Backup software is available for download, enabling users to backup important data through an improved user interface with an option to set a backup schedule. [1] Definition of capacity: 1GB is 1,000,000,000 bytes and 1TB is 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. A computer OS, however, reports storage capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of 1TB = 240 = 1,099,511,627,776 bytes and therefore shows less storage capacity. Available storage capacity (including examples of various media files) will vary based on file size, formatting, settings, software and OS, such as Microsoft OS and/or pre-installed software applications, or media content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
