In the past, Atempo (formerly Quadratec), born in 1992, acquired Storactive in CDP software in 2016 and Lighthouse Global Technologies in email archiving software in 2008.

On its side, Synerway, founded in 2002 by Christian Maillard, was bought in 2013 by Noël Minard et Yann Rolland, partners of Resadia Group. It claims 10,000 appliances now installed in the world with current offering with capacity from 1 to 144TB and a new more modern one to come with finally source de-dupe, replication to public and private clouds, to be implemented as a software, an appliance or in cloud mode.
