Vexata Exhibited Transformative File Solution With Jeskell

Using All-flash VX-100F scalable storage system based on VX-OS and IBM Spectrum Scale file system software running on up to 4 dual socket Xeon servers

Vexata Corp. exhibited its transformative Scalable File storage system along with its business partner Jeskell Systems LLC at SuperComputing 2017.

The company’s VX-100F-based file storage system is for demanding enterprise data architectures, next generation 8K, 4K, virtual reality, media and entertainment workflows, and high performance data analytics workloads.

The file storage system combines:

  • All-flash VX-100F scalable storage system based on VX-OS software

  • Enterprise-hardened IBM Corp.Spectrum Scale file system software running on up to 4 standard dual socket Xeon servers

The result is a scalable, resilient file storage system, supporting industry-standard NFSv3 and GPFS distributed file system protocols at one million random file IO/s, 50GB/s read and 20GB/s write bandwidth, and up to 180TB of protected capacity. In addition, the system supports file-based snapshots/clones and replication, as well as data-at-rest encryption at full performance.
