Sherry Lautenbach SVP of Americas Sales, Nutanix

IBM veteran for over 23 years

Nutanix, Inc. appointed Sherry Lautenbach as SVP of Americas sales.

 

 

 

She will be responsible for leading sales execution and strategy for the company’s largest geographic region.

An IBM veteran for over 23 years, her experience includes sales leadership in multiple verticals including retail, distribution, financial services, public sector and enterprise. She was a member of IBM’s senior leadership team, comprised of IBM’s top 300 executives focused on the overall strategy for the company. Her most recent role at IBM was as VP of industry solutions and strategic business Development in North America, where she was responsible for leading services sales teams across all industries to deliver industry-specific strategic solutions with a focus on blockchain, cognitive computing and digital transformation.

Prior to that, she held various senior leadership roles including GM of the distribution market in North America, where she was responsible for all IBM brands and enterprise and commercial markets for the distribution market including software, hardware, cloud and professional services. In this capacity, she led a 1,000-person sales team that generated billions in annual revenue.

Sherry’s success comes from her passion for customers’ needs and for the teams who support those customers. By aligning both technology and services, she is able to make her customers successful, as well as help them transform their business-critical operations,” said Lou Attanasio, chief revenue officer, Nutanix. “She will be a key player in our sales organization as we look to continue to grow our revenue, focus more on increasing software content and keep our customer satisfaction at industry-high levels.”
