21 Consecutive Months of Revenue Growth for Egenera Xterity Cloud Services Business

Growing 58% in 3Q17 compared to 3Q16

Egenera, Inc. announced that revenue for the company’s Xterity Cloud Services business grew 58% in Q3 2017 compared to Q3 2016, capping off 21 consecutive months of revenue growth.

Our revenue during Q3 2017 is hard evidence of the success we’re having with mid-market MSPs, ISVs, VARs and other technology service providers, and we’re on track to report a 75% growth rate this fiscal year in ARR over 2016,” said Pete Manca, president and CEO. “Since launching our cloud, we’ve expanded our global footprint to eight datacenters across the US, EMEA and Japan, and have over 200 partners successfully using Xterity to deliver reliable cloud services to their end user customers.”

We view cloud as the future of our business and have based our successful cloud services offerings on Xterity,” said Andrew Worthington, manager at ITG, a MSP in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England. “Technically, Xterity is top-notch, and the level of support we receive from Egenera is far superior to the larger cloud providers.”

Xterity delivers easy to deploy cloud services that were built for the channel, with features that enable us to deliver value-added solutions more cost effectively and easily than with the larger cloud providers,” said John B. Nelson Jr., SVP of operations and chief compliance and security officer (CCSO) at ScerISh, Inc., an ISV and solutions resource provider located in Sudbury, MA.

Xterity Cloud Services combine the security and reliability of tier 3 and tier 3+ datacenters worldwide with enterprise hardware and software to deliver private and public cloud IaaS solutions including bare metal, DR, backup and migration, along with 24x7x365 partner support and assigned account management.
