Lotto New Zealand Hits Jackpot With Actifio

Actifio, Inc. announced that Lotto New Zealand (Lotto NZ), the country’s national lottery, is using its platform to improve the resiliency and availability of its business data, and to help it build higher quality applications faster in order to maximize opportunities for its 600,000 daily users.

Lotto NZ is the single government sponsored lottery in New Zealand. It was established as a Crown entity in 1987 to raise money for community activities and projects. With seven products in its current portfolio, Lotto NZ manages $1 billion in annual transactions and last year transferred $204 million to the NZ Lottery Grants Board to help bring positive change to New Zealand communities.
