Andy Warfield Senior Principal Engineer, Amazon S3

Former co-founder and CTO of closed firm Coho Data

For a few days now, Andy Warfield, former CTO and co-founder of Coho Data, is senior principal engineer at Amazon Web Services working on Simple Storage Service aka S3.

Coho Data web site is down and his LinkedIn page reflects his new role.

Coho Data closed its doors after being for several years a promising SDS company. It was a real surprise confirming that even with great investors, there is no guarantee of success.

Warfield was, in parallel of Coho Data, associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of British Columbia.

He was technical advisor at Teradici and before that technical director at Citrix following the acquisition of XenSource.
