Finish Company Stora Enso Chooses Rubrik

Rubrik, Inc. announced that Stora Enso Oyj has deployed its data management platform at their paper mill in Langerbrugge, Ghent, Belgium to protect their virtual and physical workloads.

Stora Enso, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, is a provider of renewable solutions in packaging, bio-materials, wooden constructions, and paper on markets. The Langerbrugge mill produces 540,000 tons of recycled newsprint and magazine paper annually. As a forerunner in sustainability, the mill also operates two biomass-fueled CHP’s (Combined Heat and Power plants) that produce more than 70% of the electricity required by the mill.

The deployment includes Rubrik Edge, a software-only appliance, to protect the mill’s seven remote office environments across the UK, France, and Belgium. With Rubrik, Stora Enso Langerbrugge delivers automated backup, instant recovery, search, and platform analytics across all environments.

Prior to Rubrik, the company struggled with poor backup performance, complex management, and lengthy restores. In Rubrik, Stora Enso Langerbrugge found a centralized, policy-driven solution for its entire environment.
