IBM Cloud Storage Solutions for i, V1.2.0 offers compression and encryption enhancements

IBM Cloud Storage Solutions for i is a Licensed Program Product that enables IBM i clients to store data to a public or private cloud for purposes such as archiving, backup recovery, and file sharing.

IT organizations are increasingly using public and private cloud services to share files, backup data, and archive data. The first release of Cloud Storage Solutions for i, V1.1.0, provided an API that integrated with IBM Backup, Recovery, and Media Services (BRMS).

Version 1.2.0 introduces a new optional feature that provides compression and encryption.
