Carbonite Acquired Discreetly Datacastle Last August

Start-up in enterprise mobility endpoint backup, recovery and analytics solutions, Datacastle Corp. was discreetly acquired last August for an unknown amount by Carbonite, Inc.

Founded in 2005, the acquired company is based in Seattle, WA, CEO being Ron Faith.

It raised a total of $14.5 million from investors, including Talu Ventures:

2009: $3 million
2011: $2 million
2012: $3 and $1.2 million
