VMworld: Storagecraft Demonstrated Instant Recovery

At VMworld 2017 Las Vegas, NV, Storagecraft Technology Corporation demonstrated Instant Recovery.

Instant Recovery integrates multiple company’s products-ShadowProtect SPX, OneBlox 5210 and StorageCraft Cloud Services. It is an advancement in backup and recovery, providing instantaneous recovery capabilities at ground-breaking economics.

This first integration of the firm’s products, resulting from the company’s acquisition of Exablox Corp. blurs the lines between primary and secondary storage.

Instant Recovery demonstrations showcased how to:

• accelerate data recovery across virtual, physical and cloud infrastructures

• restore hypervisor environments at scale

• restore an entire infrastructure using the company’s Cloud Services in case of a site-wide disaster

• recover a VM of any size in less than a minute instead of hours

• improve the economics of instantaneous recovery-by at least a factor of two as compared to other available solutions
