Service Provider Odek Technologies in South Africa Deploys Tintri Enterprise Cloud Platform

Tintri, Inc. announced that Odek Technologies (Pty) Ltd has replaced EMC platforms with Tintri, enhancing its enterprise cloud services.

With Tintri, Odek can guarantee application performance for its customers, use automation to simplify  management and access predictive analytics to inform decisions about when and how to scale.

Odek is an information and communication technology company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Specialising in one-stop hosted solutions for the modern enterprise, Odek provides critical IT resources and enterprise cloud services to local businesses across the region.

To support a growing customer base, and to add new services, Odek sought an enterprise cloud platform-the company chose Tintri to replace EMC platforms. Tintri made it easy for Odek to guarantee the performance of customer applications. And Tintri’s APIs allowed Odek to automate processes and reduce management effort, even as they expand operations. The company purchased multiple Tintri systems-mirroring data between two different sites to offer a DR service for its customers.

Since the deployment, Odek has greater visibility into its infrastructure; they can troubleshoot across compute, network and storage, and they can predict resource needs up to 18 months into the future with Tintri Analytics. These enterprise cloud benefits impact both Odek and its customers.
