Intel Optane SSD DC P4800X Being Available on IBM Cloud

After conducting an early access testbed program with Intel Corp. and Lenovo Enterprise Solutions, Pte Ltd, IBM Corp. announces that the Intel Optane SSD DC P4800X is available on selected IBM cloud bare metal configurations.

Optane technology is a non-volatile memory media with a combination of high throughput, low latency, high QoS and ultra-high endurance. This SSD solution is optimized to break through data access bottlenecks and enable more work to get done per server.
