Commvault Systems, Inc. began its fiscal year for 2018 with worldwide growth with customers and MSPs in the first quarter.

The growth was fueled by the increasing need to protect and use data to drive the digital transformation, the accelerated shift to the cloud to drive increased business agility, innovation and collaboration, and the increased regulatory demands faced by organizations to meet European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other requirements. Data recovery and protection from rising global ransomware attacks around the world also contributed to the growth.

Commvault’s customer growth in 1FQ18 positions the company with added momentum heading into its next annual customer conference, Commvault GO 2017, being held Nov. 6-8, 2017 in Washington, D.C. Building on the success of its sold out conference in October of 2016, the event will bring together industry thought customers, partners and Commvault executives to discuss market forces and technology innovations to protect and use data to drive digital business transformation, optimize cloud strategies and deliver on GDPR requirements.
