Reduxio Opens French Representation

Founded in 2012 in Israel by Nir Peleg, Amnon Strasser and Mark Wiener, all former Exanet leaders, Reduxio Systens Inc. designs, develops and sells a new generation of storage platform leveraging flash and magnetic disk powered by new storage software ideas. Considered among the few new gems of the storage industry, Reduxio has introduced some interesting new technology directions with BackDating, NoDup and Tier-X to offer a new IT experience.

The company has recently announced the v3 release with NoRestore with near-zero RPO/RTO data protection capability and NoMigrate for instant data migration and data mobility. Please refer to this news for more details.

The start-up was listed in the SDS 120 published early June.

The firm has raised a total of $51.4 million according to Pitchbook with a recent C round of $22.5 million. With this new round, the company has accelerated the European sales force recruitment having offices in France, UK/Ireland and The Netherlands.

Among them:

• Elizabeth Jassaud, now France sales manager, who spent 7 years at Panasas as South Europe regional sales manager, before 2 years at Sun Microsystems as storage division director in France, 7 years as well at NetApp as sales representative, district manager and finally country manager France and previously 4 years at Auspex as sales representative France.
• Gerald Sommariva, now country manager for UK and Ireland, has spent formerly 2 years at SimpliVity as regional sales manager, almost 2 years at Nutanix as UK sales manager, more than 3 years at Convey Computer as sales for UK and Ireland and previously 1 year at Exanet as UK and Ireland sales director and before that at ONstor, NetApp, Foundry Networks and HP.
