ZE Deployed Cloud Infrastructure Built on IBM FlashSystem

ZE PowerGroup Inc. (ZE), in enterprise data management, announced its deployment of a cloud infrastructure built on IBM storage solutions to provide its clients with access to rich data, insights and analytics.

The ZE cloud offering uses IBM FlashSystem storage solutions, which has provided the storage speed and flexibility needed to power ZEMA platform-as-a-service.

Since deploying IBM FlashSystem, ZE cloud’s performance has experienced improvements to accelerate the performance, reduce latency and cut maintenance costs associated with its data management. Comparing previous disk-based storage to its all-flash storage system, ZE has sped the availability of data within massive client databases by more than 98%.

With access to ZE’s data library, it enables traders, risk managers, and business analysts working in the energy and commodities markets worldwide to perform collaborative analysis that goes beyond the scope of traditional data management systems.

ZEMA is designed to integrate data and analysis with third-party downstream systems including ERP, ETRM, and BI Tools, along with recently feeding market data into clients’ big data lakes, such as Hadoop.
