Icy Dock: flexiDOCK MB524SP-B Quad Bay 2.5-Inch SATA HDD/SDD for External 5.25-Inch Drive

Icy Dock introduced the flexiDOCK MB524SP-B quad bay 2.5″ SATA HDD/SDD for external 5.25″ drive.

The MB524SP-B brings the quality and ease-of-use of a professional solution to the consumer market. With support for up to four 2.5″ HDDs or SSDs, the MB524SP-B needs a single 5.25″ bay. This tray-less design has no doors, allowing for drives to be switched out ins.

This is an improvement to many traditional HDD docking stations that leave the drive sticking out and looking cluttered. The press ejection button offers drive ejection in a smooth, quick action. flexiDOCK brings the convenience of a HDD docking station, with the performance of a HDD mobile rack. The MB524SP-B turns unused 5.25″ bay into a quad bay SSD/HDD dock to use multiple drives together. flexiDOCK installs into system in minutes with a few screws, and is ready to operate. Once installed, the MB524SP-B supports up to 4×2.5″ SAS/SATA HDD/SSD drives from five to 9.5mm in height. It also supports 6Gb SATA transfer speeds and hot-swap functionality.
