Violin Memory, Inc. announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent No. 9,495,110. 

LUN Management with Distributed RAID Controllers
This patent describes a method for managing storage memory resources for LUN allocation and related maintenance operations in the challenging environment of a system of HA distributed RAID controllers, while maintaining coherency and high input/output speed. Using the patented method, Violin’s 4-way active-active RAID controllers deliver performance and illustrate company’s focus on innovations, including in system management areas.
